So half way through may we did a post ur fav miamoo nappy pic

Was a little dissapointed that out of the 100's of nappies that ive sold over the years that we only had 6 people enter !!

But i am please to announce that the winner was

Should I stay or should I go....

Alot of too'ing and frow'ing going on this week.

Should i stay or should i go? That is the magical question that seems to be running through a few minds ATM.

Over the last 6 months Ive seen some awesome WAHM disappear out of our industry for various reasons: family, pressures, customer pressure or even just the constant battle that can partake inside our own heads.

Don't get me wrong i seriously love what i do but sometimes i do wonder, where is it all going? why do ppl expect so much more? why do i doubt myself all the time? and most of all why do i let others affect me so much?

I don't think i would ever find the answer to that last one.
Maybe Im doing to much, MiaMoo Creations, Stitched Up Embroidery, Colour to DYE for and Whimsical Butterfly

On another note, the beast is back in the house. I honestly thought i would have been more excited about it but its more "meh" LOL

Working on a few things and will be restocking the clip and go blankets in both the fleece and minky

I'll also be going through all the materials and supplies i have here and having a massive de-stash of sorts

Looks like I have a few things to think about....

continue with nappies

give up supernights®

or stop nappies altogether and move onto other things..

wow so much to do.......but no emb machine!!!

As the title says - so much to do but no embroidery machine!!!! 

well not for another 4-6 weeks anyways.  My beastie, MB-4 has gone in for abit of TLC and a service, because I'm anal about those lol

Sooooo Ive already done the rainbow minky pre-order and they have all been sent out now, so what next???

Ill have 5 rainbow ruffles up for grabs soon like the ones above but also another choice for the lil lads out there - denim rainbow jeans naps.....YES RAINBOW JEANS NAPS!!!!!! lol

I'm also thinking of doing some more of the reversible dresses like below

rainbow cloth pads, bibs and whatever else i can paint a rainbow on :)

On another note, i was in the middle of getting a production run of rainbow minky done. In light of a few things - Ive decided NOT to go ahead with this for a couple of reasons....

1. i really love the effect of hand spliced minky soooooo much better, plus its ORIGINAL!!! cant beat that no matter how hard I try :)

2. Well the big one - with the emby having to go in for some expensive TLC its left the minky production fund a wee bit short!!!

3. It came to light that another group had banded together to push or rush thru a production of rainbow minky.  Even thou i was gutted that there is 6 months of time down the drain on my part - there isn't alot i can do about it and I didn't want to be the one seen as copying - even thou that would have been far from the truth. So I'm keeping it real so to speak :P

So for now please PLEASE if there is something you would love to see that doesn't involve minky - feel free to comment here and let me know :)

New things and more...

well Ive been working away here on some new things

all things soft and fluffy of course :)

Just getting back into the rhythm of things after Xmas and i got the most tragic phone call that my nan had passed away.

So less than 2 weeks since Ive been there I'm heading back again

Hopefully with her watching over me - things will get better for 2013!!!

Pre order or not to Pre Order?

Ive been working on a couple of things since Ive been back.

The only issue that i have is i have some other things going on behind the scenes that aren't work related that are making me hesitate on doing a pre order on 2 designs that I'm totally in love with

the first one is this Lil guy

in 2 different colourways and the 2nd one will be revealed soon :)

but for now I'm charging on with my massive declutter of my house and just generally sorting things out!!

Then....ill be sitting down and figuring out which way the business is going to go this year!!
